Moose Stew - You Betcha !

As the presidential election draws near, I often find myself pondering several points….how will the economy bounce back ?, will the candidates foreign policies help or hurt us in the world view ? How can Obama cut taxes on 95% of taxpayers when only 63% pay taxes ? What is Sarah Palins favorite food ?

I’m not sure of the first few questions, but I did find where Gov.Palin says she loves her Moose Stew…..

Being the inquisitive sort, I had to find out what goes into Moose Stew. (yeah, I know….moose) . How is it prepared ? Do you use carrots or peas ? Big chunks or shredded moose ? I would like to share a link with you that has a recipe that sounds pretty good to me and I’m sure Gov.Palin would agree. Many thanks to the Alaska Outdoor Journal for publishing this recipe.

I’ll bet it really tastes good cooked in a Range Kleen Cast Iron Dutch Oven….MMMM ! MMMMM! Now thats eatin’ !
