What can you do to help your community and environment for Earth Day? Whether it’s planting a tree, or cleaning up trash every little bit helps. It is important to teach people to care about the environment and the effect it has in the long run. If everyone would take the time to focus on what they could do as an individual to help that would be a giant step in progress into changing the world’s future. Here are a few simple ideas to get your wheels turning:

1. Recycling; everyone should know by now that recycling is a major first step. By recycling not only are you giving back but you’re reducing the pollution, especially in land fills. Recycling is an easy and fun way to get your family involved. Make it an art project. If you do not have a recycling bin already go to the store pick up a plastic bin and have your children label the bin and explain the importance and how easy it can be.
