2. If you have been following Range Kleen’s blogs and have cleaned out the closet, it shouldn’t appear to be crowded right? Closets can easily get crowded by things you think should be hung up and things that shouldn’t.
So after you remove the sweaters that you use to hang there should be a little more wiggle room. Make sure that there is enough space between each article of clothing, because when your clothes are crammed together they tend to be more wrinkled than how they were in the first place. As a result of more wrinkles you have to get out that old ironing board and spend an extra 15-20 minutes trying to get those horrible wrinkles out. Ironing can be very harsh on the fabric, and depending on what type of fabric you’re ironing on you want to be careful not to scorch the fabric.

  1. So true. Ironing does add extra time. Great time saving tip.

    I always fold my sweaters so they don’t get “hanger shoulders” but if I am not careful, I still have to iron because they get wrinkles from sloppy folding — and they never look the same after ironing. If I am a little more careful with my folding, I can save myself some ironing.
