If your family is using approximately 2-6 rolls of paper towels per month and you buy a package of 8 rolls for the $8.49 times that by 12 months and your spending roughly $101.88 just on paper towels alone that’s not even including the amount of what your family spends on toilet paper. Are you looking to save $101.88?
Why not cut back on your paper usage. When your old beat up t-shirts don’t fit anymore and there just a little to worn out to recycle to a goodwill center, why not cut them into squares and use your t-shirt in place of a paper towel. Once you’re done using the t-shirt throw it in with the dirty clothes and get it ready for reuse next time. Even old bed sheeting that you’re just going to throw away is great for cleaning because it’s not abrasive and can easily collect dust.
Also a great start to going green, if you haven’t started already.
