What can laughing do for you!
Some people need a good laugh once in awhile, why not make it more often everyday. Laughing can do many things for your body. Not only does it make a sticky situation a little more at ease it offers a few stress reliever incentives. Here are a few fun facts that are good to know about laughter.
There’s nothing better than to cut through the awkward silence by an appropriate joke or quirky comment that cracks a smile which can potentially lead into a chuckle; it takes down barriers people tend to build up. Sharing a good laugh is the best way to bring people closer together, feel more comfortable with them selves, and with you. Laughing allows you to connect with people you work with, children, strangers and your family and friends. Taking the time to converse with someone you’ve never met before; shows your true character, interest and willingness to learn about others.

Laughing can improve your health, mentally and emotionally in a big way. When you laugh your body sparks and distributes endorphins throughout your body which can make you feel serene, and is a big factor in reducing stress. Laughing not only reduces stress but it can lower your blood pressure too. When you laugh especially all the way deep down from your belly your in taking good deep breathes. By deeply breathing you’re letting an abundant of nutrients and a good source of oxygen filled blood sore everywhere in your body. This is also a good workout that can be easily done. This is a great way to hit as many goals as you want in you exercising program. When you laugh you are exercising places that are harder to work on such as your abdomen, back and face muscles. Laughing also works your diaphragm, respiratory system, and also can be extremely helpful when eating. It helps your body absorb the nutrients your body needs and makes digesting a little easier. Most importantly laughing helps one of the most important organs in your body known as the brain. When laughing it allows your brain to concentrate more on your knowledge intake by activating both sides of your brain, so that you can soak in as much information as possible.

  2. So true! My sister and I used to sit out on her front porch in the evening, and we would invariably get to laughing over one thing or another – didn’t take much for us two! And boy! did we feel it in our abdominals! So much so, that we took to calling our little evening sessions “doing our abs exercises!”
