There are plenty of different tricks for different household items. Here are six suggestions to utilize your dryer sheets for other tasks than removing wrinkles from your laundry.
1. Dryer sheets are great for freshening up your laundry in the dryer but also great for someone who cannot control their foot odor as well. There’s nothing worse than constantly smelling a dirty foot even after you’ve taken a shower and washed those sneakers over and over again. Place a dryer sheet on the inside of your stinky shoe and let it sit overnight, this should do the trick. You may have to repeat. Another stinky place could be your gym bag or suitcases. These may be other problem areas.
2. Try dusting off multiple surfaces. Dryer sheets are great for collecting dust from your blinds and static from your monitors on your computer, televisions, hair and of course your clothing.
3. If you’re a handy man or woman and do a lot of work out in the garage cutting wood and can’t swipe up debris of sawdust from your work bench a dryer sheet can come in pretty handy.
4. Have a problem with your loveable family member with four legs that sheds, use a dryer sheet to collect the loose hair off furniture and some articles of clothing.
5. For all those book worms out there who run out of places to display their favorites and have to store their books, to prevent books from becoming musty smelling place a dryer sheet in between pages to keep the pages fresh.
6. You may not have a problem with your dresser drawers smelling but it’s always nice to get a whiff of a fresh fragrance when you’re storing your clothes. Especially if your sweaters sit in the same spot till winter season approaches your clothes don’t normally stay as fresh and clean smelling as they did after washing and storing the first time around. You don’t want to smell like wood do you? Ladies this is also great for keeping your unmentionables pleasant as well. Just place a dryer sheet on the bottom of the drawer.
