Lemons… Not Just For Lemonade! There are tons of different uses for a lemon besides lemonade. Here are a few tips to help you.

1. Wanting to brighten up your whites when doing laundry try adding ½ cup of lemon juice in with your average load when running a regular cycle in your washer. Lemon juice is also great for helping to remove stains on your linens, especially for tea stains. Mix lemon juice and the same amount of water to dilute, this amount just depends on the size of the spill. Let the mixture penetrate, and then rinse with cold water.
2. Eye catching conversation decoration piece. If you’re having a dinner party and you want a fun and cool looking decoration piece why not use fresh lemons. There are plenty of ways to get creative. Use a glass or wooden bowl or even a great looking vase shaped in a cylinder. Just add lemons and WA LA beautiful centerpiece. You will have your guests wondering are those real or fake? Then as the party winds down for adults only slice the lemons into wedges and enjoy a little tequila. That way you are not wasting lemons.
3. Sometimes your nails can get discolored, try rubbing a lemon wedge on your nail to brighten them up. Not only can your nails get discolored but your fruit can too. Sprinkle a little lemon juice over your apples before serving so that it will not brown.
4. Use a lemon to remove stuck on food from your grater. Lemons are also great for cleaning your kitchen utensils such as your chopping block. The acid from the lemon can disinfect it by just swiping a lemon across the top, and can also remove stains left from your food on cutting boards. To remove stains let lemon juice sit for at least 15 to 20 minutes and then follow with rinsing off with water.
