Some side affects of too much caffeine can be: Insomnia, Depression, Anxiety and severe mood swings.
If you are experiencing side affects from too much caffeine don’t worry you can reverse how you feel with other types of foods. If you are experiencing anxiety you should eat crunchy foods like pretzels, carrots and even tortilla chips. To relieve tension eat rich and creamy foods like caramel or chocolate.
If you are having trouble relaxing, try eating foods like potatoes, breads, pasta, and cereals. Make sure that the foods you are eating are carbohydrates. By eating carbohydrates makes your mood not only calm but focused.
If your body naturally needs more energy to get motivated try eating foods that are in the protein category like eggs, meat, peanut butter, any kind of beans, milk products, nuts or fish.
Chocolate is not only a tension reliever, and an energy booster because of it’s sugar but can also be considered an anti- depressant, the caffeine in chocolate mixed with sugar releases a hormonal chemical called endorphins which creates a calming sensation through out the body starting in the brain. Your brain also produces serotonin levels which can get low because you’re not consuming enough Folic Acid, and this can cause your mood to be sad. An easy way to raise those levels is by drinking Orange Juice which is a good source of Folic Acid prevents you’re mood from feeling sad.
