What is to blame for the human race getting shorter? The answer is gravity.
In the anatomy of the body our spine is made up of 23 disks between the vertebrae’s; with the purpose to absorb shock. Through the years these disk tend to dry out and become compressed which accompanied by gravity pulls your height downward.
You’re daily height fluctuates from ¼ to ½ of and inch daily of course depending on certain parts of the day. In the morning you tend to be taller because by the end of the day gravity has slowly set in and has brought your body height down a little. When you sleep your body regenerates to the height that it was before.
It is a known fact that women are more prone to getting osteoporosis, but that doesn’t mean men are in the clear especially if you are consuming a lot of alcohol. For those of you who do not know what Osteoporosis is; when your bones are weak and brittle, which can cause fractures in your spine, wrists and hips. If you have low bone density you are more at risk for osteoporosis.
There are signs to know if you have osteoporosis, and they are: curvature in your spine when in older age, back pain, and loss in height.
That is why it is important for everyone to get as much Vitamin D and Milk in their daily routine as possible. Not only does Vitamin D and Milk make your bones strong but you have to also keep them healthy with exercise as well. Too much caffeine can attribute to osteoporosis. The caffeine changes the balance of acid in your blood flow, and can also prevent your body from absorbing calcium. To prevent your body from getting osteoporosis you should take supplemental vitamins that are FDA approved of course.
