Cup Cake Craze!

Presented on August 15, 2009 in Royal Oak, Michigan at the annual Woodward Dream Cruise, the Guinness World Book of Records has discovered the largest cup cake yet.
The cupcake was made in Manchester, New Hampshire, by Ryan Abood, owner of Gourmetgiftbaskets.com. The total weight of the cup cake was 1,224 pounds with an estimation of 2 million calories. Hopefully the thought of consumption doesn’t make you sick to your stomach. It took approximately 800 eggs, 200 pounds of sugar and 200 pounds of flour.
Donations were asked for samples of this gigantic cup cake. Those proceeds benefited the Susan G. Komen, The Cure for breast cancer organization.
