Don’t be a Halloweeny!

Halloween is approaching very fast with only a week left to go. There are plenty of ways to celebrate and decorate for Halloween such as: filling decorative trash bags marked of pumpkins or ghouls, inflatable figures, window clings, creepy spider webs, tombstones, putting up scarecrows and hanging skeletons or windsocks.
One of the most common decorations is carving pumpkins. Not only is carving pumpkins fun but you can create just about any picture or design. Another way to decorate pumpkins which is more kid friendly is by painting them. There’s nothing to it, it may get a little messy but that’s what makes it fun for them.
A Ghostly Creation.
A cheap and easy way to create a little extra something is to take Styrofoam cups of any size, fishing wire and a black permanent marker.
1.) First take the cup with the open side facing down drawl a spooky face on it with the permanent marker.
2.) Then use a pair of scissors to make triangle cut outs going all the way around the bottom of the cup. Remember it doesn’t have to be perfect triangles either, add a little character.
3.) Finally take a needle and poke a very tiny hole at the flat end of the cup and run the clear fishing wire through it and tie the end to make a knot so the wire will not slip out. Once you have completed you can hang the floating ghost wherever you like, whether from a tree, deck, awning, fire place, or ceiling. This is not only great for outside decoration but for any Halloween party.
