Let it Snow!

Tis’ the season to be filled with tracked in snow and salt but don’t let that put a damper on your winter season. Here are a few tips to make things a little less messy.
1. Don’t leave a trail. When entering your home leave newspaper available at each door, that way when you come in from outside you can step on the paper and it will absorb melting snow and ice. Makes it easier to clean up.
2. Avoid Frostbite. Not only you can avoid frostbite from being out in the cold but you can also avoid it by not scraping your windows. Instead lay a beach towel over the windshield the night before it’s suppose to snow. In the morning then all you have to do is pull it off and WA la! No work necessary.
3. Take the easy way. Before grabbing your shovel spray a little non-stick cooking spray on the shovel. This lets the snow slide of easier so your not breaking your back trying to get the stuck on snow clumps off.
4. Don’t ruin your shoes. If you’re worried about salt stains, have no fear. A little bit of white vinegar and water does the trick. All you have to do is soak a towel in the mixture, lightly dab on your shoes and then let dry.
